She was predeceased by: her husband Olin "Doc" Echols; her parents, Daniel E. Parson and Amanda Thomason Parson; her son Donald Gene Morris Jr.; her grandsons, Christopher Morris and JoJo Davis; her great grandchild Gavin Morris; and her siblings, Rucia Cook, Elizabeth Munch, Robert Parson and Fred Parson.
She is survived by: her grandson Gene Morris III (Quinn) of Douglasville; her stepdaughters, Sonya Davis (Joe) and Julie Vickers (Larry); her grandchildren, Bill Davis (Hannah), Amanda Davis Thomas, Caitlin and Alex Noonan; and her great grandchild Catherine Thomas.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home & Crematory - Milledgeville (1670 N Jefferson St NE, Milledgeville, GA 31061). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery (2617 Vinson Hwy, Milledgeville, GA 31061).
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to Northside Baptist Church, Muscular Dystrophy Association or Eagle Ranch Chestnut Mountain.
