She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Freeman and Sara Brookins Freeman; and her husband Phillip Lamar Hartley, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Phillip Lamar Hartley, Jr. (Sheneika) of Graniteville, SC, Richard Eugene "Rick" Hartley (Beth) of Cedartown and Tracy Hartley Clark (Jay) of Milledgeville; her sisters, Mary Jane Colson, Brenda Allen, Jeanette Nelson (Hilton) and Sherry Wilson; and her grandchildren, Mitchell Lee Hartley (Mady), Margaret E. "Megan" Hartley, Alice C. Hartley, Katherine Rose "Katie" Hartley and Madeline Rose Clark.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home & Crematory - Milledgeville (1670 N Jefferson St NE, Milledgeville, GA 31061). A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
