He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gus Thurman and Annie Louis Clark Thurman; his wife Mary Louise Thomas Thurman; his daughters, Rhonda Andrews (Derrick) of Monticello and Amanda Todd (Samuel) of Milledgeville; and his grandchildren, Kyla Thomas, Kimora Andrews, Derrick Andrews, Samiyah Todd, Kelind Andrews and Alaysia Todd. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, and other family and close friends.
