It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Bridges Jr. (Milledgeville, Georgia), born in Olla, Louisiana, who passed away on June 25, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Robert Luther Bridges, Sr. and Myna Polk Bridges; and his sisters, Bess Bridges Applebury, Laura Bell Bridges, Louise Bridges Greene and Frankie Bridges Overman.
He is survived by: his wife Sybil Hatfield Bridges; his daughter Iris Bridges McRee (David) of Milledgeville; and his granddaughter Sydney McRee Solomon (Peter) of Macon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
