He is survived by: his wife Tulisa Martin Cowan of Milledgeville; his sons, Micah Cowan (Francine) of Pikeville, NC and Ian Cowan (Delaney) of Statesboro; his stepdaughter Jamie Harrison of Warner Robins; his siblings, Cynthia Jane Cowan Smith of Greenville, NC, Neil Cowan of Macon and John T. Cowan (Susan) of Seale, AL; and his grandson Levi Grimm.
