It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pat Simpson of Milledgeville, Georgia, born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, who passed away on December 31, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Glover Pettigrew and Jemima Pettigrew; her husband W. L. Simpson; her siblings, Erma Cosby, John Pettigrew and Edwin Pettigrew; and her son-in-law Kirk Yeager.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Yeager of Milledgeville and Leigh Ann Knowles of Milledgeville; her grandchildren, Trevor Yeager of Augusta, Lindsey Knowles of Kennesaw and Carson Knowles of Kennesaw; and her brother Glenn Pettigrew of Milledgeville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
