He is survived by: his siblings, Michael McBride and Patricia McBride Brittingham; his wife Linda McBride of Milledgeville; his children, Charles C. "Chuck" Brett (Cathy) of Tallahassee and Bennie F. Turner (Kristin) of Milledgeville; his grandchildren, Shelton Brett (Ashley), Caleb Brett (Kassandra), Cheyenne Dixon (Chris) and Dakota Fort; his great grandchildren, Lillibeth Brett, Jenson Brett and Aiden Dixon of Pheobe Dixon, D. J; and his sisters, Marie Griffin, Barbara Wyrosdick (Terry), Melinda Reeves and Cindy McBride.
