We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Murleen F Holmes (Milledgeville, Georgia), born in Laurens, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Schossow and Irene Schossow; her husband James Andrew Holmes; her son Christopher Holmes; her parents-in-law, James and Dorothy Holmes; her brother Bill; and her sister-in-law Diane Schossow.

She is survived by: her brother Darwin Schossow (Becky); her daughters, Laura Holmes, Tonya Arnold, Tina Lewis (Greg) and Tara McClung (John); her grandchildren, Matthew Point (Sierrah), Danielle Byrd (Caleb), Melissa Point, McKenzie Arnold, Emma Lewis, Griffin Lewis, John Daniel McClung IV and Halle Jaymes McClung; and her great grandchildren, Addison Pendrey, Joey Grace Byrd and Finn Point.

The family request, memorial contributions in Murleen's Memory be made to Moores Funeral Home.

“I want to send my love and condolences that Murleen died so suddenly. She was my cousin and we were the same age. So when our families got together we always played together. Murleen would come to Sioux City, Iowa to stay with my family. I have very fond memories of her and she will be deeply missed and I will think of her often. This has been a deep blow to the family lossing both parents in such a short time period. May God grant you peace with their love and memories. Kristie Hoelker”
