It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mimi Argo-Laney in Milledgeville, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on September 7, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Robert Eugene Argo; her half-brother Lin Martin; and her birth father Huey Snow. She is survived by: her husband Russ Laney; her sons, Charles Russell Laney Jr. of Milledgeville and Robert Jefferson Laney of Milledgeville; her mother Jean Alderson Argo; her sister Amy Argo Cowsert (Bill); her birth mother Eleanor Martin of Milledgeville; and her half-siblings, Lee Martin, Les Martin, Lisa Cowan, Robbie Snow and Becky Philbin.
