She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Russell Hitchcock; her son James "Jimmy" David Hitchcock; and her parents, Aline Douglas Purvis and Micajah Purvis, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Hitchcock of Cleveland, TN, Pamela Hitchcock of Milledgeville and Russell "Greg" Hitchcock of Milledgeville; her sister-in-law Coline Purvis of Nichol; and her grandson Michael Paul Micajah McCoy of Milledgeville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
