She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas King, Jr. and Marguerite Burns King; and her brother J. T. "Sonny" King. She is survived by: her son Allen Len Chappell (Kathy) of Milledgeville; her granddaughters, Stephanie McVickers and Amy Chappell; and her great grandchildren, Lyla, Callen and Mathew McVickers.
