It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Etheridge Jackson of Milledgeville, Georgia, born in Toomsboro, Georgia, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Andrew Etheridge and Nora Dean Grissom Etheridge; her husband Bertrum E. Jackson, Sr.; and her grandson Derek L. Sauls. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn V. Jackson, Dorothy J. McCullar, Barbara J. Elliott, Bertie J. Tillotson (Charles) and Bertrum E. Jackson, Jr.; her grandchildren, Dawn McCullar, Wade Elliott, Wesley Elliott, Wendi Elliott Eubanks and Wanda Elliott Foster; and her stepgrandchildren, Alan Tillotson (Vicki) and Deone Tillotson. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family will visit with friends following the service, please wear mask and social distance.
