He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hubert Tidwell and Louise Shellnutt Tidwell; his wife Janet Lawhorn Tidwell of Milledgeville; his children, Troy Tidwell of Hawkinsville, Dr. Shannon Rainey (Kerri) of Augusta and Brian Rainey (Staci) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Alison, Maddie, Austin and Eden.
