He was predeceased by: his parents, Judson Watson and Nannie Morris Watson; and his wife Janice Rebecca Harville Watson. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Watson of Dublin, Jolynn Aubry (Len) of Milledgeville and Marc Watson (Michelle) of Waycross; his siblings, Ray Watson of Dublin, Clovis Rowland, Iris Frost of Pooler and Linda Garmany of Ohio; his grandchildren, Justin Hall, Ben Fulghum, Lily Grace Watson, Ace Gabriel Watson, Rebekah Anne Aubry and Burke Watson Aubry; and his great grandchildren, Kal and Ashani.
