He is survived by: his children, John Alan Eggers of Marietta, GA, Stephanie Michelle Eggers of Clarksville, TN and Douglas Andrew Eggers of Helen, GA; and his brother Andrew Nelson Eggers (Susan) of Sylva, NC. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two nephews.
