He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Hope Watson and Pearl H. Linton Watson; his wife Ann Elizabeth McLain Watson; and his sisters, Joyce Satterfield, Marie Umina and Frances Watson.
He is survived by: his son James H. Watson (Betsy) of Peachtree City; and his grandsons, Justin Watson of Marietta, Zachary Watson of Lithonia and Ethan Watson of Denver, CO..
