She was predeceased by: her father Forest Lester Sessions; her husband Arthur Floyd Peavy, Jr.; and her sons, Nathan, Floyd and Bernard.
She is survived by: her children, Lester Peavy (Yvonne) of Gray, Johnny Peavy of Milledgeville, Leigh Reed (Carl) of Macon and Genene Peavy of Milledgeville. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren 24 great grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren.
