He was predeceased by: his parents, Spero Patterson Murphy and Beulah Bell Smith Murphy; his wife Ina Sue Wade Murphy; and his son Kenneth Darrell Murphy. He is survived by: his sons, Gary Murphy (Dianne) of Milledgeville and Van Murphy (Ginger) of Milledgeville; his sister Janet Ebbin (Mike) of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Jonathan Murphy, Shaun Murphy, Ryan Murphy, Jenna Murphy and Jordan Murphy Milling; and his great grandchildren, Lydia Murphy, Rebecca Murphy, Kenny Murphy, Michaela Murphy, Hayden Murphy, Ronan Murphy, Madison Murphy and Estelle Kimberly Milling.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 4:00 PM.
