She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Jones and Pearl Holder Jones; her husband Joseph Melvin Moran, Sr.; and her siblings, J. L. Jones, Tullie Jones Sr., Hazel Hawthorne and Kay Jardina.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Moran, Jr of Milledgeville, Marjorie Ann Linnell of Atlanta and Carolyn Anita Minshew of Milledgeville; her sisters, Clara Woody of Macon and Willie Pearl Morgan of Milledgeville; and her sister-in-law Elsie M. Braxley of Milledgeville. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
