It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Rowell of Milledgeville, Georgia, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joyce Reeves Rowell and William Daniel Rowell. She is survived by: her husband David Smith of Milledgeville; her daughter Julia Hinson of Southern Pines, NC; her siblings, Kim McCurry of Ball Ground, Rusty Rowell of Waynesboro and Ronny Rowell of Ellijay; her son Brad Smith; and her grandsons, Matthew and Mark Smith of Kathleen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Habitat for Humanity, or any other organization that benefits the community of Milledgeville, Georgia.
