She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry K. Pitts and Mary R. Haines Pitts; the father of her children Ollie Frank Askew, Sr.; and her sister Helene O. She is survived by: her children, Judith Alicia Askew (Fernando Gonzalez) of Clinton, Ollie Frank Askew, Jr. (Terri B.) of Milledgeville and John Knighton Askew (Kim) of Eatonton, Georgia; her grandchildren, Kyle Askew (Jennie), Jessica Askew (Chris), Avery Askew, Noah Askew, Wyatt Askew, McKayla Askew and Matthew Duncan; and her great grandchild Bridger Askew. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
