She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elbert Homer Ivie and Bertie Ophelia Boone Ivie; her husband William Harry McDade; her daughter Sandra Suzanne Giles; her granddaughter Samantha Rae Giles; her sons, Alan McDade (Darenda) of Milledgeville, Rocky McDade (Vanessa) of Milledgeville, Steve McDade (Jessica) of Milledgeville and Dalton Giles of Milledgeville; and her sister Gwen Alliston of Morgan County. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
