He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Evans Durden and Evie Mae Stephens Durden. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Birchfield Durden; his sister Dorothy Durden Little; his daughters, Deborah Durden Penhollow and Cynthia Brightman of Milledgeville; his siblings, Nellie Williamson of Gordon, Charlene Dixon (Eddie) of Milledgeville, Frances Cobb Bridge (James) of Ivey and Lonnie Durden (Nell) of Milledgeville; and his grandchildren, T. J. Reanhard, Kyle Brightman and Rose Brightman.
