He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Maxwell Hulsey, Sr. and Margaret Drew Hulsey; his wife Dianne Pekar Husley; his former wife Nell Canady Hulsey; his son Mark Stanley Hulsey; and his sister Madolyn Schewe.
He is survived by: his son Max Hulsey of Marietta; his brothers, Robert Hulsey (Martha) of Metter and Wayne Hulsey (Mary) of Monroe; and his grandsons, Tyler Patrick Hulsey of Canton and Norris Maxwell Hulsey of Lawrenceville.
