It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Simmons of Milledgeville, Georgia, born in Tennille, Georgia, who passed away on April 14, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Genette Mimbs and John Sidney Simmons; her stepfather Russel Mimbs; her close friend Larry Prosser; and her brother John (Catherine).
She is survived by: her sisters, WyVonne Chapman (Jerry) of Buford and Connie West (Bob) of Sandersville; and her pets, Toby and Prissy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
