She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lyman Jackson and Mary Eileen Gardner Jackson; her husband James "Jimmy" Rosser Smith; and her sister Marianne Jackson Veazey. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Smith Burgamy (Melvin) of Sparta and Fern Smith Blair (Jeffrey) of Macon; her brother George L. Jackson (Crys) of Sparta; her grandchildren, Jaime Beasley (Joel), Jay Blair (Nataly), Joni Crosby and Jena Cranford (Garrett); and her great grandchildren, Bailey Beasley, Barrett Beasley, Bret Crosby, Cason Cranford and Morgan Blair.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Culverton Cemetery Fund, John Hancock Academy or to Sparta Baptist Church.
