It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Pounds of Milledgeville, Georgia, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Waldon Pounds and Carrie Collins Pounds; and his wife Betti. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Pounds of Coopers, Sara Jean Braswell of Swainsboro, Ronnie Pounds (Marie) and Randy Pounds (Teresa); and his siblings, Jan P. Dominy (Ed) of Milledgeville, Madelyn Chalker (Thomas) of Seneca, SC, Sheela Pounds of Milledgeville and Kevin Pounds of Coopers. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
