He is survived by: his wife Bettie Favors Brooks; his sons, Jimmy Lee Brooks, Jr. of Milledgeville and Edward Scott Brooks (Kari) of Lizella; his sisters, Claudette Dubay (Bob) of Milledgeville, Gertrude Lewis of Sparta and Jeanette Williamson of Yatesville; his grandchildren, Zaleigh Brooks (Noah) of Milledgeville, Jarred Brooks of Byron, David Brooks of Milledgeville and Cierra Brooks of Lizella; and his great grandchild Bentley O'Neal of Milledgeville.
