It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Franklin Ellington (Milledgeville, Georgia), born in Dublin, Georgia, who passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin Ellington and Ollie Leaptrot Ellington; and his wife Sarah Elizabeth Dukes Ellington. He is survived by: his stepsons, Bo Prosser (Gail) of Raleigh, NC, Butch Prosser (Susan) of Fayetteville and Skip Prosser (Teri) of Raleigh, NC; and his nephew Jon Helton of Dublin. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great niece and great nephew.
