Though Jeanette may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jeanette touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy McCoy and Laura McCoy; and her daughter Wanda Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Carol Widener; her grandchildren, Ruby Shipman, Freddy Smith and Roy Roberson; her great grandchildren, Adolphus Terry Shipman, Isaac Shipman, Bethaney Shipman and Ethan Roberson; and her sister Mary Chapman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Abundant Life Church. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
