It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Horace Franklin Jr. (Milledgeville, Georgia), who passed away on March 2, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Warren Franklin, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Hubbard Franklin; and his siblings, Carol Batlann and Ira Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Johnson Franklin; his children, Chris Hawthorne (Jay) of Gordon, Ira W. Franklin of Milledgeville, Katie Howe (Josh) of Columbus and Diane Baker (David) of Gray; his grandchildren, Christian Hawthorne, Will Franklin, Asa Franklin, Noah Franklin, Savannah Howe, Ren Howe, Jocelyn Baker, Danielle Baker and Wyatt Baker; his sisters, Maryann Brown, Janie Butler and Vickie Yates; and his aunt Ernestine Carr of Milledgeville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives.
