Helen Sammons Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2021, at the age of 88, Helen Sammons of Milledgeville, Georgia, born in Dublin, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Flournoy Locke and Mary Etta Edwards Locke; her husband Marcus Guy Sammons; her brothers, Alfred, David "Bubba" and Bobby Locke; her siblings-in-law, James Harmon, Bill Stuckey, Clinton Warnock and Polly Locke; and her sister Emma Jean Stuckey.
She is survived by: her son David Sammons (Nancy) of Milledgeville; her sisters, Frances Harmon of Atlanta, Linda Warnock of East Dublin and Dorothy Beasley (John) of Jesup; her sister-in-law Edith Locke of O'Brien, FL; her grandchildren, Chris Sammons (Lori), Thomas Sammons (Andrea) and Mary Elizabeth "Meg" Payne (Elias); and her great grandchildren, Logan and Olivia Sammons. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
