He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Grady Day and Dorothy Starley Day; his wife Mildred "Millie" Thompson Day; and his brothers, Hank and Dennis Day.
He is survived by: his sons, Ashley Day (Sabrina) of Lawrenceville, GA and Dylan Day (Margaret) of Marietta, GA; his grandsons, Wyatt Day of Lawrenceville, GA and Garrett Day of Marietta, GA; and his sister Margie Dean of McIntyre, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
