She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Rainey and John Robert Evans (J. R.); her former husband John Thomas Fincher; her brothers, Robert Evans, Alec Evans and Davison Evans; and her son-in-law Scott Shull.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Smith; her daughters, Cheryl Fincher Wheat (Ken), Elizabeth Fincher Humphrey (Ron) and Jennifer Fincher Shull; her stepchildren, Edward Smith, Jr. (Maudlin), Robert Smith, Julie Smith and Jeanne Williams (Richard); her grandchildren, Kimberly, Jay, Leslie, Lori, Adam, Nathan, Robert and Daniel; and her brother Richard Evans of Warner Robins. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
