He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Morgan McCollum and Johnnie Mae Bryant McCollum; and his niece April McCollum. He is survived by: his daughters, Sharae McCollum of Tallahassee and Sara Jordan Petty (Mark) of Milledgeville; his grandchildren, Alexus McCollum, Daniel McCollum, Danielle McCollum, Cameryn McCollum, Ky'mani McCollum and Grayson Petty; and his brother Danny McCollum (Lisa).
