It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fredrick Hammerschmidt (Milledgeville, Georgia), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on December 25, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hammerschmidt and Irene Ballard Hammerschmidt; his son Leonard Ernest Hammerschmidt; and his brothers, Hugo and Richard Hammerschmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Marie Genna Hammerschmidt of Milledgeville; his daughter Vicki Hammerschmidt Dent (David) of Milledgeville; his grandchildren, Priscilla, Christopher and Sierra Hammerschmidt; his great grandchildren, Braylynn Palmer and Bradley Thompson; his sister-in-law Catherine Kliphel of Beacon, NY; and his daughter Pugsly.
