She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Avery and Mattie Lingold Avery; and her husband William Calhoun "Bill" Buckner, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Don Buckner (Nancy) of Milledgeville; her grandsons, Brett Buckner of Columbus and Lee Buckner (Julie) of Baton Rouge, LA; and her great grandchildren, Abbey, Anya and Ella.
