He was predeceased by: his parents, John Riggs McMillan and Martha Mozelle McMillan; his brother Joseph R. McMillan; his stepmother Magdalen McMillan; and his stepbrother Charles Youngblood.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Fambro McMillan of Auburn, GA; his sons, Scott Edward McMillan of Suwanee, GA, David Patrick McMillan (Michelle) of Loganville, GA and Stefen DeWitt McMillan (Anne) of Virginia; his siblings, John R. "Mac" McMillan, Jr. (Rita) of Statham, GA, Marc Youngblood (Renee) of Stockton, CA, Carolyn Story (Carl) of Canton, GA and Mary Sinclair of Milledgeville, GA; his sister-in-law Carol McMillan of Milledgeville, GA; his grandchildren, Hannah Yagle (Austin), Connor McMillan, Tessa McMillan (Daniel), Caitlin McMillan and Hayden McMillan; and his great grandchild Griffin Meadows. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
