He is survived by: his children, Kristi Cooper-Wasik (Kari) of Dallas, David Dinkins (Monique) of Macon, Karyn Dinkins Thomas (David E.) and Ashley Boyce; his sisters, Kay Dauenhauer of Gray, Georgia and Diane Rowland of Gray, Georgia; and his stepmother Brenda Dinkins. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
