He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Mable Buckle Watson and Robert Arthur Watson; and his brother-in-law Bob Gebert. He is survived by: his wife Patti Rustin Watson (Patti); his children, Pam Walton (Anthony), Shelley Watson-Kapadia (Aakash) and Jack Watson (Jordie); his grandchildren, Samuel Walton, John Walton, Abigail Walton, Ben Walton and Reya Kapadia; his sister Barbara Gebert Milton; and his extended family, Lee Wayne Foux, Cathey Foux, Janelle Foux (Shawn), Nancy Perkins Yancey (Jerry) and Connie Perkins Hartt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He was a deacon of Harmony Baptist Church where he attended regularly until the advent of Covid.
