He is survived by: his wife Mary Davis Tolbert; his children, Stephanie Tolbert Gray (Jimmy Gray) of Macon, GA, Dennis Mosley Tolbert III of Milledgeville, GA and Davis Christopher Tolbert (Patricia Prum Tolbert); his granddaughters, Arianna Tolbert of Lawrenceville, GA and Cecelia Tolbert of Lawrenceville, GA; his sister Vera Tolbert Choice; and his siblings-in-law, Frances Bonner Tolbert, Herman Driskell Sr. of Milledgeville, GA, Isaiah Davis Jr. (Paulette) of Milledgeville, GA, Harold Davis of Milledgeville, GA, Ezekiel Davis (Carol) of Milledgeville, GA and Aaron Davis (Jan) of Byron, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins as well as many other family members and friends.
