We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2022, at the age of 66, Debra Jo Lowery of Milledgeville, Georgia, born in Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton McCarty and Bobbie Ruth Odom McCarty; and her siblings, Jimmy McCarty, Charles McCarty, Virginia Covil and Beverly Ann McCarty.
She is survived by: her son Shannon Norris of Milledgeville; her former husband Gray Norris of Milledgeville; her granddaughter Andersen Rhys "Andie" Norris; and her siblings-in-law, Peggy McGee, Linda Blair, Sandy Harris, Carol Dunagan, Barbara Sellars, Kathleen McCarty and Fred Norris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
