He is survived by: his wife Charlyne Mairesse Mixon; his daughters, Dr. Vickie Brown Richards (William) of Milledgeville and Mary Mixon Arnold (Dieter) of Jacksonville Beach, FL; his grandsons, Seth Brown and Aaron Brown of Milledgeville; his sister Beth Mixon Dietz of Alexandria, VA; and his stepchildren, Jimmy Crooms of Milledgeville, Michael Crooms of Warner Robins and Arlette Mairesse of Jasper, GA..
