He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Kitchener Thompson and Edwena Parrish Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his sons, Rob Rogers (Sarah) and Ryan Rogers (Kelly); his grandsons, Cole Rogers, Wilson Rogers and Brice Rogers; his siblings, Frank Thompson (Anja), Kenneth Thompson, Jane Barnard and Cindy Erwin (Greg); his mother-in-law Elizabeth Rice; his sister-in-law Bonnie Schubert (Terry); and his nieces and nephews, Mandy Schmole (Filip), Cassie Archer (Paul), Toriq Thompson, Kilian Thompson (Christina), Natalia Thompson, Lynde Schubert and Brandon Schubert (Katie). He is also survived by 9 Great-Nieces and Nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (330 S Liberty St, Milledgeville, GA 31061).
