He was predeceased by: his father Charles Rabun Giles; and his granddaughter Shelly Christian Giles. He is survived by: his wife Nell Giles; his sons, Charles R. Giles, III (Lisa) and Mark Giles (Margretta); his grandsons, Travis Giles and Cody Giles; and his great grandchildren, Dillon Rhett Giles, Lily and Anna Brooke Giles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Tennille Retirement Home or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
