It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Hurst Sr. of Milledgeville, Georgia, who passed away on November 28, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Hurst and Opal Hurst; and his brother Freddie J. Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Janis Collins Hurst; his children, Wanda Batchelor (Michael) of Eatonton, Rhonda Harvey (William) of Walhalla, S. C. and Chuck Hurst (Susan) of Milledgeville; his siblings, Dortha Parson of Clarksburg, W. VA, Robert Hurst of Dayton, Richard Hurst of Dayton and Irving Hurst (Dot) of Milledgeville; and his stepchildren, Melissa Sharp of Dublin, Chris Hall of Lyons, Thomas Hall of Bruswick and Clint Hall of Milledgeville. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
