She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. George and Annie Hawkins George; her husband Jack Harris Cox; her daughters, Jackie Cox Hutcheson and Janice Cox Hutcheson; and her granddaughter Amanda Hutcheson Hall.

She is survived by: her daughter Joni Cox Smith (Ted); her son-in-law Jack Hutcheson; her sons, Curtis Cox (Vicky), Carl Cox and Craig Cox (Ellen); and her grandchildren, Shannon Hutcheson, Corey Hutcheson (Tessie), Kevin Smith (April), Ashley Smith (Mandy), Garrett Smith (Eliza), Shane Cox, Carli Cox, Amanda Gladdin (Marty), Jack Cox (Danielle), April Hutcheson Smith (Carroll), Amber Hutcheson Simmons (Allen) and Averi Hutcheson. She is also survived by 30 Great Grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
