It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Ann Durden (Milledgeville, Georgia), born in Warrenton, Georgia, who passed away on January 12, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bob" Ezra and Iris Edenfield Abbot; and her sister Margel Barton. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Durden of Milledgeville; her children, Charlie Mimbs of Savannah, Tony Mimbs (Teresa) of Warrenton, Beth Fezio (John) of Norris, SC and Troy Mimbs (Eleanor) of Chattanooga, TN; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Mimbs, Monica Mimbs, Tiffany Anderson, T. J. Mimbs, Justin Davey, Hannah Mimbs and Rebecca Lavender; her great grandchildren, Iris Abbott Anderson, Hamilton "Ham" Anderson, Kalem Davey and Arick Davey; and her brothers, Terry Abbott of Sandersville and David Abbott. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
