He was predeceased by: his father Jack Sargent; and his brother Michael Sargent. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Sargent Kelly of Chatsworth, GA, Krystal Sargent of Reidsville, Kevin Sargent of Atlanta, Wesley Sargent (Heather) of Milledgeville and Dewayne Sargent of Milledgeville; his siblings, Shirley Sargent Morgan of Gwinnett Co, GA and Danny Sargent of Douglasville, GA; and his mother Irene Tibbits Gibson of Vila Rica, GA.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
