He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jesse Evans and Erline Layson Evans; his daughter Sherry Lynn; his wife Dixie; his son Wayne Evans (Beverly); his grandchildren, Michael Evans (Brittney) and Christa Collins (Rhett); his great grandchild Sadie Kay Collins; his stepdaughter Cindy Bowen (Mark); and his stepgranddaughters, Candace Diaz and Samantha Anderson.
